Indemnification
Reflective of the Field General Terms and Conditions, users agree to indemnify and hold Field General and landowner hosts harmless from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of or related to their use of the platform or participation in activities.
Landowners must provide proof of property insurance containing sufficient protection for hunting activities and Field General reserves the right to deny a host if the coverage is not deemed sufficient.
How Most Landowners are Already Protected
The majority of landowners who welcome guests to their property already carry insurance policies that extend to recreational activities such as hunting. These policies typically provide protection against claims that may arise from guests using the land. While coverage can vary by provider, many landowners are already insured for the very activities promoted through Field General. Please review your current policy for accuracy or seek additional coverage if needed.
Additional Protection Options
Field General is actively seeking a partnership with a licensed insurance agency to facilitate quick and seamless enrollment for landowners who may not already have adequate protection. In addition, we are in the process of securing a blanket policy designed to safeguard Field General and serve as an added layer of protection for participating landowners in the event of claims. This layered approach ensures both hosts and our platform are supported by proper coverage.

Landowner Booking Approval
Landowners have full control over who hunts their property by approving or declining booking requests. This flexibility creates a safer and more comfortable environment for our landowners.
ID Verification
Hunters must complete ID verification before booking a property, ensuring they are who they say they are. This gives landowners reassurance by knowing only verified individuals are granted access to their property.
User Rating System
Field General uses a two-way rating system where both landowners and hunters can review one another after a booking has completed. This keeps everyone accountable, and creates a safe, respectful experience on both sides.
